This is the first fully defended thesis written in English in the UCAM

The Catholic University of Murcia has lived a historic moment this morning to celebrate the act of defense of the first two doctoral theses of students from the School of Doctoral UCAM-FOM.

This is a school for the training of doctors, born in 2011 at the hands of the Catholic University San Antonio and Fachhochschle University für Oekonomie & Management (FOM).

Andre Wiedenhofer and Thomas Myslich, have defended their investigations have focused respectively on strategic flexibility or tax fraud in the German business world.

('Adaptive Development of a Model for IT Manging value with Strategic Flexibility' and 'Black Sheep on Green Pastures-Prevention and Disclosure of Accounting Fraud in the Federal Republic of Germany-A study on the Effectiveness of the legal guidelines for preventative and disclosing accounting fraud ').

The Doctoral School UCAM-FOM allows students of this prestigious German institution, specialized training programs in Marketing, Economics and Business Administration, to obtain the degree of Doctor of Murcia European institution in the field of Business, Economics and Finance.

The rector of the FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management, Burghard Hermeier, stressed the importance of this event, and assured that this is a "very special" program since students that comprise develop their professional work in prominent German companies, enabling knowledge transfer between universities and companies.

"It is a mirror of German industry, are banks like Deutsche Bank; company like Bosh, but the important thing is that there are many medium-sized company that are very present in the world market in Germany," says Burghard Hermeier.

For its part, the director of the School and Associate Dean of the Degree in Business Administration, Gonzalo Wandosell, positively valued this project, and stressed that it is the first written and fully defended in English at the UCAM thesis.

But the UCAM and FOM develop more next to doctoral programs.
