With the inauguration of the Bethlehem Municipal Board, by the parish priest, Juan Fernandez, began yesterday the traditional Cultural Week and Christmas Celebrations of St. Pius X, to be held until the 28th.
The event was attended by the Mayor, Miguel Angel House, the president of the Municipal Board, Clemente Garcia and councilors Rafael Gómez Sánchez and Lola, and numerous neighbors who gathered in the cultural center of the hamlet.
The Mayor gave Kevin Aaron and Paul Lacárcel-students of 2nd and 4th St. Pius X CEIP prizes that correspond to them as winners of Christmas cards.
Then began the performance of students in Toni Dance Academy, where children and adults offered an exhibition that lasted over an hour, raising the applause of the audience, who packed the auditorium.
During these days, students from St. Pius X CEIP can enjoy morning children's theater in the cultural center, a space each evening at 20 hours, will host various musical and cultural performances, all featuring artists and associations neighborhood.
In addition, throughout the week will also take place the III Top Road, to be held by all the local bars, while next Saturday will be held at 11:00 shuttle (inflatables, workshops, dances, etc.).
At 16 hours is scheduled arrival of Santa Claus to the square, where there will be chocolate tasting.
In parallel, activities scheduled during these two weeks by the parish of St. Pius X for neighboring interpreting carols by children of the parish for older -the Thursday-and-the representation of the Nativity stands Friday -.
On Saturday 20, the scout group of neighborhood collect food throughout the morning to Caritas.
Midnight Mass and the Feast of the Holy Family completed events organized by the parish for these dates.
