La Peña Huertana The Contraparada organized on Saturday the Christmas Festival |
The streets of New Javalí back to last Sunday, December 14, with the celebration of its traditional market with customs and typical stamps of vegetable gardens and orchards.
The activity is organized by the Municipal Board in collaboration with the Board of guilds, the Brotherhood Daughters of Mary and the Heart of Jesus, Bell Auroros New Javalí, rock huertano The Contraparada, rock huertano The Wye, Women's Center, Cultural Center , Senior Center, MJC, Association of Friends of Music and Dance Association bolilleras of the hamlet and AMPAS of Río Segura Contraparada and colleges.
The neighbors, dressed in traditional outfits in the garden, represent ancient trades, show a barnyard animal, decorate the streets as 100 years and offer tastings of typical Murcia food like rice and rabbit with snails, zarangollo, crumbs, broth balls, etc.
Also, have organized activities for children and some shops in the district will offer their traditional products.
The event, held at the Royal streets and squares of the Hermitage, will be accompanied by the songs of the Aurora and folk group.
The traditional market has been held since 2007.

Tomorrow, December 13, from 18 pm, will be held folk festival of the rock, in the auditorium of the Cultural Center of the hamlet.
Participating groups will sing carols and aguilandos.
