The UCAM and Hefame join forces to labor inclusion of young people with intellectual disabilities (10/12/2014)

The Catholic University San Antonio (UCAM) has signed a collaboration agreement with pharmaceutical wholesale distribution coopeerativa Hefame, by students belonging to Capacitas Program UCAM may make practical training for the labor inclusion of young people with intellectual disabilities .

Also, both entities conducted jointly research projects on disability as well as symposia and specialized cycles.

In signing the agreement have involved the president of the UCAM, José Luis Mendoza, and the president of Hefame, Carlos Coves.

The president of the Brotherhood Mediterranean Pharmaceutical (Hefame), Carlos Coves, said that the agreement "is a way to integrate into society these people with disabilities, as it is essential to form in companies and may eventually work. It is important for them and for the rest of society "done.

Capacitas program coordinator and in turn associate dean of the Degree in Elementary Education UCAM, Painted María del Mar, stressed the importance of the agreement signed, since "is a breakthrough in socio-employment of these students on the one hand and, secondly, the possibility of future hires our graduates in a large company like Hefame ".

It should be noted that under the agreement signed, students of Degree in Pharmacy and different engineering can do internships in Hefame.
