The Mayor, Miguel Angel House, today encouraged representatives of hotels and tourist accommodations in the municipality of Murcia to work, along with the city, in promoting tourism in the city of Murcia.

So it was explained to the representatives of the new Association of Hotels and Tourist Accommodation of Murcia (Ashhomur), with whom he met this morning at City Hall.

This body, chaired by Jesus Pacheco, brings together 21 establishments of all categories that exist in the municipality, of 1-4 stars-who represent over 90 percent of accommodation units.

The association was created to combat the intrusion and lawlessness in the sector have increased in recent times by making use of new technologies.

Along with Pacheco (director of Arco de San Juan) complete Ashomur Policy Immaculate Nicholas (Hotels Churra) and Carmen Ayala (AC Murcia) as vice presidents;

Felipe Saldaña (NH Hotels) as secretary;

Carmelo Muñoz (Hotel Santos Nelva) as treasurer;

and Tania Lopez (Sercotel JC1), Alfredo López (Hotel Silken 7 Coronas), Albert Casas (Campanile) and Antonio Montesinos (Hotel Tryp Rincon de Pepe) as members.
