Estrella Morente excited at the UCAM (04/12/2014)

The Temple of the Monastery of Jeronimos has outgrown this afternoon to accommodate both art.

Nearly a thousand people attended the Misa Flamenca sung by Estrella Morente, director of the International Flamencology UCAM - Foundation Cante de las Minas, who has thrilled everyone present to interpret, with his flamenco, flamenco Mass composed his father, Enrique Morente, 25 years ago.

The Granada has played during Mass, presided by Major Chaplain of the UCAM, Luis Emilio Pascual, the following topics: the Introit to the conclusion (Lope de Vega, Morente), Kirye (Morente), Gloria (Fray Luis de León, Morente), Credo (John of the Cross, Morente), Agnus Dei (traditional, Morente), Sanctus (Fray Luis de León, traditional, Morente) and the Salve to the Virgin Mary (P. Garfias, Juan del Encina, Morente).

Note that the Misa Flamenca has been the culmination of the V International Congress of University Research Flamenco, which began last Tuesday at the Campus of the Murcia university.
