The Cathedral Museum is about the students through the activity "A class at the Museum" (14/10/2014)

With the aim of bringing cultural heritage of the Cathedral of Murcia secondary students, the Cathedral Museum launches the project "A class at the Museum."

The artistic richness of the Cathedral can be studied from multiple perspectives, so the Museum makes this tool available to teachers who want to include in their programs a cultural visit.

It is an activity that aims to establish links between art and other subjects, by providing professionals teaching the artistic wealth of the Cathedral.

Each visit is intended to work on any of the curricula of secondary and high schools.

A booklet where the teacher competencies, objectives and content as well as prior information for the student, so you can pre-prepare the visit in the classroom, and then continue doing some proposed exercises appear is provided.

The visit was carried out by the staff responsible for teaching the Cathedral Museum, starting with a brief explanation accompanied by a screen presentation and continuing with an itinerary for the Cathedral and its Museum.

The cost per student will be 2 euros, which will go to the preservation of the historical and artistic heritage of the Cathedral Museum maintenance.
