The Ecoaula adds to environmental education program for the reality of the natural environment closer to the students (13/10/2014)

The Environmental Education Program "Murcia, ecology of a city" starts a new course preparing a comprehensive and innovative range of activities aimed at schools and associations in the municipality of Murcia.

A new feature last week began the Ecoaula, a new part of the program which includes lectures, workshops and visits, and aims to bring students the environmental reality of the city of Murcia through lectures, exhibitions and workshops conducted in the classroom.

They can engage students of all ages, from kindergarten to high school, including adults of other entities or associations.

With full activities calendar, Ecoaula start the course with renewed and updated activities on issues such as noise, energy, waste or water, serving more than 25 schools materials.

Green Schools 2014-2015 this course starts with the highly charged batteries.

More than 20 centers in the municipality participate actively in this part of the Environmental Education Program.

Of these, four are brand new;

Torresalinas, San Andrés, Fleet and Pablo Gil Castillo.

The centers that have worked years in Green Schools will launch two new campaigns.

Moreover, schools Ecological Network of the Municipality of Murcia School (RHEMU) Orchards are already involved with the planting of fall and winter.

Another attraction of the Nature Centre is the new Visitor Center Majal Blanco, located in the same facility.

Since its launch thousands of people have enjoyed these and other corners keeping Majal Blanco and waiting to be discovered through respect and care for its visitors.
