The Councillor for Social Welfare, Maruja Pelegrin, has responded to the socialist mayor Susana Hernández announcing that over the center of San José de la Vega will open next fall, once the furniture is definitely generally awarded.

Hernandez Pelegrin asked, "why criticizes the current center does not have elevator when the building was built by the PSOE in 1993 and it did not occur to a facility for the elderly must dispose of this equipment."

The mayor added that the government team has made a major effort to build a large senior center in the hamlet investing around 700,000 euros.

Moreover Pelegrín explained that graffiti is vandalism and fruit of all these aspects must be rectified before it opened.
