The Governing Council allocates 320,000 euros for students travel practices and material (24/07/2014)

The Governing Council of the University of Murcia, who chairs the rector, José Orihuela, today approved the call for aid for travel on our students and consumables, to a total rises to 310,000 euros.

The agreement states that this amount, € 40,000 will go to travel, and the remainder to the purchase of consumables for practices.

The resolution encouraged to organize outings with numerous groups and bus, in order to economize where possible the cost of shipments.

The deadline to apply for these grants, as stated in the notice, the date is 30 September.

Furthermore, the Governing Council has seen a report of the Vice President for Entrepreneurship Transfer and signed agreements on educational cooperation with companies and institutions in the second quarter of this year, amounting to two hundred.

It has also adopted a number of courses, seminars and workshops, on the proposal of the Vice President of Training and Innovation.

At the beginning of the session, the rector reported on meetings of the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE) and the University Council held yesterday in Madrid, in which several royal decrees projects of the Ministry were revealed of Education.

Among these are the royal decrees national accreditation for access to faculty, creation and recognition of universities and colleges and planning of official university studies.

On this, the rector told the members of the Governing Council who are going to send the contents of all of them for the purpose of receiving contributions and suggestions.
