ANECA renews the accreditation of degrees of communication UCAM (01/07/2014)

The reports confirm the quality of the curriculum, the involvement of teachers and high student satisfaction, among other factors

The San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia submitted voluntarily this year, a number of graduate and postgraduate pilot ANECA accreditation (Accreditation) program, which aims to renew the accreditation of university degrees in their adaptation to space European Higher Education.

The UCAM was, at national level, most university undergraduate degrees and presented the first of the Region of Murcia in doing so.

After appropriate evaluation, reaffirm ANECA just the quality of the degrees of the Faculty of Communication UCAM (Journalism, Communication, Advertising and Public Relations), mainly highlighting the effectiveness of the curriculum, the involvement of all teachers, employability rate of graduates and training levels and satisfaction with the same received by students and employers.

The process estimated valuations of both university students and teachers and business professionals and media who have worked with students during their internship or after finishing their respective undergraduate degrees.

The School of Communication is so, the first in Spain to receive this recognition for all their titles.

The Accreditation Program is a new project estimation college degrees, which is currently in its pilot phase and for which ANECA has enjoyed the cooperation of the UCAM, which put at your disposal, along with the titles of Communication, the degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics and Technology Food, besides the Masters in Clinical Nutrition, for which also soon expected to receive a favorable report from the agency quality.

Communication online

Framed within the School of Communication, which has garnered such good results in recent reports ANECA Accreditation program, the UCAM will start from next year Degree in Communications Online, a title that will allow students meet the broad spectrum covering this discipline thanks to new platforms.

This new title has in its curriculum with a wide load generalist training in communication, with references that provide specific guidance in areas of performance such as online information, audiovisual creation and business communication.
