The Government delegate, Joaquín Bascuñana, and the Minister of Health and Social Policy, María Ángeles Palacios, presented this morning at the social center for the elderly Murcia II a talk on public safety as part of Security Major Plan, promoted by the Ministry of State of the Ministry of Internal Security and developed by the Guardia Civil and National Police.
The talk is framed in the activities of the VI Health Week is celebrating this center and, thanks to the collaboration of the Government Office and the Instituto Murciano Social Action (IMAS), wants to take all social centers over the region.
Esteplan fixed overall objective to prevent major risks for seniors as far as safety is concerned, building trust of these people in the security forces and improving the response of these in his performance.
The Government delegate stressed the importance of such discussions to help prevent major fraud in their homes, on the streets and trips made during a particularly vulnerable group to these practices.
Last year, they added Bascuñana, held in Murcia 54 lectures of this type, which was attended by around 1000 people.
