Physical activity improves coexistence in the classroom, to increase personal and social responsibility, as one of the conclusions of the doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Education at the University of Murcia by Bernardino Javier Sánchez-Alcaraz Martinez.
The thesis has been rated as outstanding cum laude, has implemented a model of personal and social responsibility in physical education classes which concluded that with its implementation, significantly improves the behavior of high school students.
The application of these resulted in a decrease of the violence in the classroom and a reduction of the total number of violent behavior and cases of indiscipline or lack of students.
To perform this research, the author took into account data derived from the observation of 573 students, aged between 12 and 15 years, a total of 16 schools.
The dissertation was supervised by professors from the University of Murcia Valero Alfonso Valenzuela, Arturo Díaz Suárez and Juan Luis Yuste Lucas.
