The Department of Culture, through the Space Río_Caballerizas Mills, has launched a visual arts competition for young artists to support the creation and development of visual quality proposals.
Those residents may participate in the town of Murcia with a length of at least one year and who are over 25 and under 35 years.
The proposal will be free artistic subject and may be made on photography, sculpture, painting, printmaking, design, installations and new media.
The deadline for submission of proposals will begin on April 7, 2014 at 10 am and end on April 11, 2014 at 14 pm.
Projects will be presented on the second floor of Mills Space Río_Caballerizas Monday to Friday from 10 to 14 and from 17 to 19 hours.
The author must provide copy facilities for the project ID or passport, resume, project report and a dossier with at least three of his works.
An artistic / visual project will be awarded and the winner will show their work in a solo exhibition at the Mills Space Río_Caballerizas throughout 2014.
The winning proposals will be published on the council website www.murcia.es.
The jury will be composed of three specialists in visual arts, Murcia residents and chaired by the Councillor for Culture of the City of Murcia.
