Councilwoman Equality Policy and Development Cooperation, Alicia Barquero, this morning visited the municipal center of the hamlet of Algezares "La Rosaleda" site to see the renovation of windows of that center.
The works, which have been made by students of the Workshop School of the Department of Employment, Trade and Business, have focused on the arrangement, sanded and painted a total of 15 windows of this iconic building that houses the center Algezares City.
The Rose Garden is one of the most emblematic buildings Algezares, which became in the late twentieth century headquarters Algezares Neighborhood Board, the Social Center on Aging and the Center for Women.
This is the typical tower house Murcia, built between the late nineteenth century and early twentieth.
This manor belonged to the Barceló family, one of the most important and wealthy area.
The building retains the old structure, although the garden has been reduced to a small space on the rear facade of the house.
This manor house has been declared of Cultural Interest.
It is a public university with a degree 2-BIC.
