The National Police makes a labor inspection in 18 commercial establishments in the neighborhood of San Andrés de Murcia (30/12/2013)

The police operation are detained four foreign people, two of them for employing foreign nationals illegally staying in our country.

Agents of the National Police have conducted a labor inspection in 18 establishments in the neighborhood of San Andrés in the city of Murcia, with the result of four foreigners arrested, two of them, to have working in their business to foreign persons in an irregular situation in Spain.

This operation is part of the collaboration between The Labour Inspectorate Social Security of Murcia and the National Police to conduct inspections in business establishments in various nuclei of the city, where both workers and responsible citizens thereof are foreign, and as a result of analysis of the research results, which show irregularities in labor exploitation of foreign nationals

Given these facts on 11 December, holding a police operation in which 18 commercial establishments in the neighborhood of San Andrés, with the result identified 37 foreigners of various nationalities, by arresting four inspected of them, two for illegal residence in Spain and two employers have them working in that situation.

Two of the detainees, a Moroccan national, crimes against them: against the right of workers and aiding and abetting illegal immigration and illegal aliens, are charged with an offense under the Immigration Act.

The operation was carried out by agents of the Provincial Immigration and Border Brigade, Commissariat of National Police in the district of San Andrés and collaboration of the Inspectorate of Labour and Social Security of Murcia.
