The association and Braces CEOM association sign a cooperation agreement with the city of Murcia to integrate disadvantaged groups in activities that contribute to recoup some of the nursery Mayayo.
The project aims to develop promotional and work integration for people with intellectual disabilities and persons deprived of liberty.
The actions will aim to rehabilitate part of the nursery and start planting species, according to municipal needs restocking of natural areas of the municipality.
The arrangement consist of different phases in order to meet the needs of the groups involved.
There will be a first phase of training at the beginning of the project to learn some aspects of CEOM association and intellectual disabilities, while simultaneously addressing issues relating to nurseries, hydroponics, management tools and garden tools, common pests and forms to act on them, types of fertilizers and their use ...
Two sessions of teaching and learning that will remain open throughout the development of each of the phases.
The schedule will be 10 to 13:15 am in Mayayo Finca El Palmar.
The second phase will consist of the tunnel and cleared rubble and cleaning classrooms, to be held from December to March.
The groups will consist of five volunteers, coordinated from braces and twelve people with intellectual disabilities, supervised by PEEM.
At the beginning of the performance will be provided all the necessary equipment (rakes, hoes, picks, wheelbarrows, shovels ...
Then design of the classrooms and the tunnel project's third phase, which is scheduled for completion March to June will be performed.
The list of participants will be selected using the same parameters as above: 5 volunteers and 12 people with intellectual disabilities.
Likewise, all materials to be adapting resources facility is also provided.
From July to September, as stated, will take place the fourth stage of action, consisting in the gear for classrooms and nursery.
The pool of candidates for this phase will still provide the same features as above provided CEOM supervised by technicians.
The fifth and final phase of the project will aim to start planting, pre-plant and seed supply by the municipality according to the needs.
The dates are scheduled from September and will have a new group of participants with the same characteristics.
This project aims to improve the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities and reintegrate detainees, facilitating their family, social and professional integration.
