Councilman Juan Patricio Castro Socialist Group defend a motion in the House of Thursday asking the local government to support and accompany all those social, economic and business associations who choose the new European funds to create jobs and wealth in the new EU financial framework for 2014-2020 that will allow investment to 366,800 million euros.
The key priorities of this new budgetary framework are explained Castro-generating growth and jobs, address climate change and energy dependence and reduce poverty and social exclusion.
The socialist mayor in plenary ask the City Council to put the batteries to ensure that the various social and business associations Murcia choose to submit those EU funds and projects whose primary objective is the generation of wealth and employment in a municipality whose main scourge remains unemployment, with more than 45,000 unemployed.
"The Consistory Murcia is required to be at the top of this train cars starting in 2014, helping and supporting those projects that create jobs and wealth," insists Castro, who hopes that the local government vote in favor of this initiative and start working in this direction to alleviate the high unemployment rate that supports the town.
