"Promised Hell" is installed on the Almudí to celebrate its twentieth anniversary (17/12/2013)

Twenty years after the release of the first film shot by the Murcia Chumilla Carbajosa the Almudí palace pays homage at an exhibition-installation that collects various pieces and works of different artists, an exceptional example of creative work that crystallized in an audiovisual work great complexity and cultural significance, which runs until January 19.

"Hell promised", shot entirely in natural areas of the Region of Murcia also marked the film debut of Ginés García-Millán with the most important generation of Murcia professional filmmakers who, today they are mostly relevant industry professionals Cinema Spanish: Elijah Siminiani Leon (Director), Antonio Conesa (producer and director), Carlos Gras (assistant director), Angel Haro (set designer), Miguel Franco (musician), among others.

The film, co-produced with Italy, was cast includes actors enshrined as Margarita Lozano, Franco Citti or Rafael Álvarez El Brujo.

Also noteworthy is the technical contribution with Italian names such as Arnaldo Catinari cinematographer, producer Gianluca Arcopinto or costume designer Marina Roberti.

In 2004, Chumilla-Carbajosa, with the support of producer LM Kit Carson, one of the historical references of the American independent cinema, decided to undertake an ambitious new international project titled OF THE Unmaking (Or not done), an apocryphal story that mixing fiction and reality, using as a starting point Promised Hell itself, a new journey to the Underworld film, showing unknown aspects of his first job in a particular reflection on the film itself and the passage of time.

The film won the 2010 Special Jury Prize at the prestigious SEMINCI (International Film Festival of Valladolid)

Juan Manuel Chumilla Carbajosa proposes, after two decades, the long-awaited final version of Hell Fiance has been restored, remastered and reissued with the support of MIFI (Mediterranean International

FIlm Institute) and The Horn, one of the most prestigious European companies audio post.

Its world premiere was held on December 20, 2013 at the headquarters of the Regional Film "Francisco Rabal," and Salzillo Cinema, by the presence of significant actors, artists, technicians who participated in the film.

Previously the film will screen The Unmaking of and viewers have first chance to see the two films consecutively.
