Ros recalls that there have been no layoffs in housekeeping nor will in the future (11/12/2013)

Councilman Urban Cleaning and Waste Management, Jose Ros, has indicated that the City has always looked for employees who are responsible for cleaning and waste collection retain their salary and no layoffs, now or in the future.

The Department has in 2014 with the same budget this year, aiming to offer the same services without reducing benefits.

Ros recalled that in the rest of Spain are becoming very unpleasant situations such as street cleaning layoffs and deep cuts in wages, which will never happen in Murcia.

The Councillor added that socialist mayor Mar Rosa gets into the car of a report in the media, as has always been dedicated to criticizing that Murcia is dirty, questioning the work performed by employees of the cleaning service.

The City pays the concessionaire to charge workers signed it, since its mission is to ensure that both the company and employees provide good service and do their jobs, clarifies Ros.

The mayor added that the Department will not only keep the same jobs in the same conditions but will increase staff in 2014 with the development of the Waste Treatment Center of Cañada Hermosa, whose works have been working on last year an average of 200 people each day.
