The Governing Board has given the green light to a collaboration agreement between the city of Murcia and San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia, in order to allow the implementation of practices in the management of pupils title Training for Labor Inclusion Youth with Other Capabilities Capacitas Program, which takes place in the UCAM developed.

As part of the activities of the German Socio Montoro Chair for Youth Inclusion Other Capabilities with the UCAM and the Foundation are jointly developing the GMP Capacitas Training Program for Labor Inclusion of Young People with Intellectual Disability in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Communication UCAM recognized as Course at that university.

This qualification is aimed at the incorporation of young people with intellectual disabilities from the regular labor market, through supported employment.

Curricular practical activities will be set as part of the curriculum and the duration will be set to the same.

The trainee will join a labor mediator appointed by the Capacitas Program, which will remain with the student until the latter is fully integrated into the company and perform all the tasks independently.

The functions of the mediator:

1.

in-depth analysis of the functions to be performed by the student / worker and preparation of all necessary help and support to ensure proper training of all the functions entrusted to it;

Two.

individual work with the student / worker to ensure their adjustment to the internship / work and enterprise;

Three.

working with the staff of the company to contribute to their full integration in the business, providing guidance on communication, making orders and level of demand;

April.

monitoring worker throughout their working lives.

May.

conducting briefings with City staff to present the characteristics of people with intellectual disability in general and students in particular to contribute to their full integration into the entity sessions.

This agreement will have an initial duration of one year from the date of signature, prorrogándose tacitly on an annual basis and may be terminated at the will of either party at the time they see fit, without any further written notice requirement.
