The Councillor for Social Welfare and Health, María del Carmen Pelegrin, participated this morning at the official presentation of the Solidarity Center Calendars Juan Cerezo de FAMDIF day at the Cultural Center of Las Claras Cajamurcia.
The protagonists of this calendar are the young of the Day Centre "John Cherry", which have attended this presentation and thanked the support shown by the company selling the calendars, which have already reached about 800 copies.
The pictures in this calendar were taken by Fran Manzanera with the artistic collaboration of Paco Abellan.
This initiative is born in order to obtain resources to finance educational cultural activities, sports and leisure center that make this a unique, dynamic and active place.
The Day Centre "John Cherry", unique in Spain, serving 15 young physically disabled dependents aged 16 and 40, so they can have a space specially designed to promote personal autonomy, foster relationships and social and improve the quality of life for its users as their families.
On Monday 16, at 19:00 h, Susana Molina (winner of Big Brother 14), and Gonzalo Montoya (same participant) will sign calendars at the Las Claras Cultural Center Cajamurcia.
