The City will continue to improve road markings on various routes of the municipality in order to protect the safety of pedestrians and drivers.

This has been awarded the contract for maintenance and repair of road safety elements in large avenues of Murcia.

These works will be carried out in Avenida Juan Carlos I, Juan de Borbon, El Palmar Road, North Coast, Miguel Indurain avenue, avenue Kingdom of Murcia, Miguel de Cervantes, Juan de la Cierva, Plaza de Castilla and all crossings tram

Thus, the company Triton SL is responsible for conducting the works of maintenance and repair of road safety elements on large avenues, amounting to 105,255 euros and lasts two months.

The existing road markings on several streets and access routes to Murcia require regular maintenance because they are parts subject to wear due to the action on them of road traffic and the elements.

The aim is to replace the road markings on roads subject to wear above average, due to the action on them of intense traffic and the elements.

Therefore we must perform actions replenishment crosswalks, directional arrows, symbols and lines separating lanes of various streets.
