The parish of San Juan de Ávila de Murcia will present during this time of Advent, Apostolic Exhortation of Pope Francisco "Evangelii gaudium" ("The joy of the Gospel").

For this, a series of three lectures will be held in the parish.

The first took place on Wednesday, December 11th, by the pastor of St. John of Avila and Episcopal Vicar of Murcia, D.

José Sánchez Fernández, dealing with Chapters I and II of the appeal under the title: "The transformation of the missionary Church and the crisis of community engagement."

In the second talk, dated for Wednesday December 18th, the curate of the parish, D.

Ramón Gómez Navarro, will speak on Chapter III of the Apostolic Exhortation: "The proclamation of the Gospel."

This lecture will end on Friday, December 20 with reflection by Mr.

Raimundo Corner Orduna, collaborator of the parish, who will talk about "The social dimension of evangelization and evangelization in the spirit."

All lectures will take place at 20:30 am in the parish church of San Juan de Ávila de Murcia.
