FADE Foundation develops a tutoring workshop benefiting 45 children at risk of social exclusion San Andrés environment.
This activity aims to promote academic success of students, promote values ​​education and facilitate their social integration.
Education Councilwoman Maria Dolores Sanchez, attended the first day which was held in the CEIP San Andrés.
The City is working with FADE in this activity since 2006.
The tutoring takes place on Monday and Tuesday of each week, with the participation of 22 volunteers who selflessly give their time selflessly to support homework in these children.
This project is part of the 'Youth + Youth Worlds'.
Furthermore, FADE offers Spanish classes for immigrants in the IES Miguel de Cervantes, involving 10 children served by 5 volunteers, and has launched this year a workshop for leisure and book at the Municipal Center García Alix, in the that attends every Friday afternoon to 12 children between 4 and 11 years.
With these initiatives is to ensure equality of opportunity and promote a more just and cohesive, while working for the socio-education of children in the Region of Murcia, with special attention to the immigrant.
