The St. Vincent de Paul School, located in the village of El Palmar (Murcia), school affiliated to the Catholic University of Murcia, inaugurated this morning the 2013-2014 school year with various academic and religious events in commemoration of their patron St. Vincent de Paul.

The ceremony began with a solemn Mass celebrated in the parish of the Immaculate Conception of the town of El Palmar, which has been chaired by the Chaplain of the UCAM, Luis Emilio Pascual, and which was attended by teachers and students of the school.

After the religious ceremony, the Chaplain of the UCAM has blessed the new premises of the Colegio San Vicente de Paul.

According to the center's director, Antonio Guillén, "it is a major effort by the Foundation, and moreover necessary for school. Regarding the momentum of Colegio San Vicente de Paul, the president of the UCAM, Jose Luis Mendoza, said that "this is an important goal for the Foundation to perform this service work in the field of education, training kids to light of the Gospel ".

It has detailed that "we intend to expand the number of Catholic schools, and for it provides for Alma Mater Foundation Teaching Catholic School, which will be integrated into the current San Antonio Foundation, which form part of the three centers that already manages our Foundation. "
