Contraparada Environment incorporates as space awareness activities (27/09/2013)

More than 16,500 students participated in organized activities during the past |

Environmental education program for schoolchildren "Murcia, ecology of a city", under the Department of Environment, led Adela Martinez-Cache, begins in its 18th edition with new proposals for activities, among which the inclusion of The space Contraparada as environmental awareness training.

More than 16,500 students from all educational levels have participated during the 2012-2013 school year in the activities planned by the Department:

School gardens Program

In the course that begins just started the sixth edition of the "School gardens".

A total of 2,650 students have participated during the past year through thirty schools that have been advised for the management and implementation of a school garden.

This year will be attending 18 schools in the municipality where you will perform the whole process of growing vegetables from planting to harvesting.

The school garden is an open classroom with room for all subjects and can be used as an excellent teaching resource and motivating for students.

GREEN SCHOOLS Program

In its thirteenth edition, the "Green Schools" starts attending 24 centers motivated to continue with the educational process of the environmental audit to fully optimize the use of resources (paper, water, noise and energy) and environmentally to educate entire school community to lead the school management towards sustainability.

The balance of this course is participation of 6,525 participants from students and staff throughout the educational community.

"Talks, workshops and visits" urban ecology

The Department of Environment design a new programming environmental activities for the period from September to December to strengthen training, awareness and environmental awareness of the population of the town, offering a wide range of thematic alternatives in which all people can participate interested.

The proposal consists of 3 Seminars and Workshops Nature, environmental seven guided itineraries and routes, and five activities of local environmental volunteer program.
