Ruben Juan Serna, spokeswoman for Union Progress and Democracy in the city of Murcia, states that "it would be interesting to know if followed technical criteria or are estimates" data to quantify the economic impact of the Fair 2013.

UPyD Murcia has sent a letter asking for the criteria or method used by the government team to establish figures "as round" a few days of the closing, which estimate the economic impact for the city of 15 million euros and one million visitors.
