Patiño Municipal Center hosts this evening presentation of the "Patino traditions alive."
This is a project that emphasizes that aspect of our culture for less visible not less important: intangible heritage.
The presentation will take place before the start of the "round table around trovo" to be held in the context of the celebrations of Patiño, and will feature both the table and the subsequent Trovera evening with the participation of: Jose Antonio "El Andaluz" Pedro Lopez "El Cardoso I," Pedro Lopez "El Cardoso II", Francisco Nicolás Fructuoso "The Patiñero II" and the special invitation of Cuban troubadour José Antonio Roche.
The project is the result of open dialogue between groups, associations and scholars related in one way or another with Patino, who witness while key players in strength and vitality of some of the most important manifestations of popular heritage Orchard Murcia in this district.

ACTIVITIES
Trovo Workshop
It is a pioneering initiative that seeks to vindicate the "trovo" as one of the most important oral traditions intangible heritage, and therefore, work on strengthening its distribution and trying to teach this noble art to new generations.
- Target audience: people interested over 14 years with a focus on youth.
- Dates: October 24 to December 19, 2013
- Thursdays from 17:30 to 19:30 hours
- The workshop will be conducted by Francisco Fructuoso and Pedro Lopez, and will include the participation and contribution of other renowned troubadours.
Learning Unit
Undoubtedly this is the most far-reaching initiative to medium and long term.
Education is the main factor on which to intervene if we want to ensure that the cultural heritage linked to the Huerta de Murcia is not lost in oblivion.
Therefore, we have planned to perform an effort in preparing lesson plans to help us in this way, units in Spanish Language, Music and Physical Education.
Referred all intangible heritage of the Huerta de Murcia in some of its most important manifestations.

Exposure

Youth Video Contest
It is an excellent opportunity to leverage the impact of the meeting of crews, enabling youth participation.
- The format would be a competition open to amateur for over 14 years on videos made about the Meeting of crews of January 12, 2014.

The workshop is organized and promoted by the Cultural Center as part of its training, and will be held at Casa Ruiz, with the support and collaboration of Huertanos Bowling Federation of the Region of Murcia.
