The Children's Traffic Park, example of functioning (20/09/2013)

The Children's Traffic Park Murcia hosts a day of work today with the participation of the Aldermen of the City of Murcia Security, Nuria Fuentes, and Education, Maria Dolores Sanchez, managers and technicians from the Directorate General of Traffic in Madrid and the municipalities of Murcia, Cartagena, Molina de Segura and Alhama de Murcia, and the Aldermen of Education said municipalities, heads of local police and traffic monitors in order to study the modification of the rules of the Children's Traffic Park, as currently in effect an order of the Ministry of Interior of January 31, 1989

Traffic Parks are an important element in teaching driver education school for its preventive nature.

It aims to achieve an improvement in road safety from a multidisciplinary perspective by groups and key issues as identified in the Strategic Road Safety Plan (2011-2020), working with the most vulnerable users, who have deserved special attention from its creation by the General Directorate of Traffic, and they demand, to improve its effectiveness, appropriate regulations to this educational reality.

The Children's Traffic Park Murcia receives each year about 5,000 visitors.
