Federations and Associations of Parents of students from the municipality will organize activities in schools thanks to the public call for aid and subsidies granted by the Department of Education, directed by María Dolores Sánchez.
The City Council has approved the basis and public call for aid and subsidies to promote activities organized by Federations and Associations of Parents of Students for the academic year 2013/2014.
In the academic year 2012/2013 grants were awarded to 61 Federations and Associations of Parents of Students.
The Department of Education maintains these subsidies from 1999-2000.
The objectives of these grants is to encourage the participation of all sectors of the education community, promote the formation of these associations to assist in the management and organization of schools and support the various activities organized.
The amount of aid is 29,000 euros.
The deadline for submitting applications is 20 calendar days from the day following publication of the notice in the BORM.
