NGOs promote their work Cooperating Week (11/09/2013)

Talks, exhibitions and fair NGOs are some of the activities taking place from 23 to 30 September to mark the Week of Cooperating.

The aim of these activities, organized by the Department of Equality Policy and Development Cooperation, directed Alicia Barquero, in collaboration with NGOs in the municipality, is raising public awareness of the need to help the poorest countries and at the same time to publicize the work of volunteers.

The Cooperation Day, which was observed on September 8, recognizes more than 1,400 work Spanish working in the most disadvantaged areas of the Earth.

Match the Millennium Declaration of the United Nations where 189 Heads of State pledged to meet the Millennium Development Goals.

-Monday, September 23.

Opening of photographic exhibition 'The High Contrast.

A look at the city of El Alto from cooperation 'and' Palliri Foundation.

20 years of development cooperation in the city of El Alto, Bolivia 'Palliri Foundation at the Municipal Center of El Carmen.

You can visit until 4 October from 10.30 to 13.00, and from 17.00 to 20.00.

-Tuesday, September 24.

Talk of Makua in school ONG'D Saint Joaquina de Vedruna.

The school's students will visit the Civic Center Exhibition Carmarthen.

-Wednesday, September 25.

Hands Unit in school presents a documentary Cierva Penafiel cocoa trade.

-Thursday, September 26.

Opening Cooperating Fair, which is installed in Santo Domingo.

It will run from 26 to 29 September in 12 hours to 14 hours, and 18-21 hours, and involved more than twenty ONG'D to show their work and be activities for the entire population.

The NGOs that will stand at the fair are: Association of Friends of the Saharawi people, Makua Association, Holidays in Peace Association, Blue in Action, Action Fire, Caritas de Murcia, UNESCO Centre of Murcia, Murcia Surgery Solidarity, Cooperation Vincentian for Development, Spanish Red Cross, Development and Education Assistance Foundation (FADE), Foundation CEPAIM Diagram Intervention Foundation, Humanism and Democracy Foundation, Foundation Intered, Mainel Foundation Vicente Ferrer Foundation, Engineers Without Borders, Community Development Institute, Intermon Oxfam Solidarity Karit for Peace, Manos Unidas, Master Mundi Welcomes Murcia, Project Africa Friends Mali and service and outreach activities.
