IU-Greens today considered a "scandal shameful" the decision of the Provincial Court to overturn 10 years of instruction by pollution in the river Segura following a complaint lodged in 1999 by the formation of the left.
Jose Manuel Lopez, then IU-Greens councilor in the city of Murcia and promoter of the complaint, said that the ruling of the Court is "very strange error" and did not rule out the case of a "ruse" to continue lengthening the process.
Lopez, as complainant, has not received notification of court and ensures that if you get recourse to it.
Also recalled that Emuasa, the City Sewer and technicians of the Hydrographic Confederation of Segura (CHS) at the time confirmed the presence of waste in the river, which later turned out to be waste of cadmium and chromium.
Lopez has said that citizens "do not have to pay for the mistakes of the Administration of Justice", and explained that decisions like this only lead to create "despair" in the legal field to environmental crimes.
"In these 14 years from the filing of the complaint, together with the current councilor in the city of Murcia, Esther Herguedas we personado three times in the Palace of Justice for streamlining the process so that it closed the investigation stage , and the response of the administration of justice is the proposal nullification ".
