Students may obtain an official certificate in Hotel Management, Coolhunting, Economics for beginners, Statistical Analysis with R, Google Course Builder or Participatory Democracy
San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia has launched six courses MOOC (massive, online and free access), for those who have already enrolled more than 5,000 students, with 60% from outside of Spain.
This is an absolutely innovative learning formula that allows students to participate from anywhere in the world.
MOOC courses (acronym for Massive Online Open Course) began in September and will run until October.
They are registration and free access to the content through networked platforms, promoting the creation of an agile environment, fully oriented international training demand generated by society.
The courses have a structure for learning that includes testing and evaluation to demonstrate the knowledge acquired by the student.
The courses in Hotel Management, Coolhunting, Economics for beginners, Statistical Analysis with R, Google Course Builder and Participatory Democracy, and all of them are run by professors at the Catholic University San Antonio of Murcia.
After completing the course and have passed the examinations, the student may obtain a Digital Badge and an official certificate from the UCAM, on payment of fees.
To register, just have to provide the name and email address through the web ucam.edu / studies / Mooc.
In the coming weeks, in addition, the University will launch new courses on the platform MOOC MiriadaX Tutellus Universia and, most collaborative platform for learning and teaching Spanish.
These courses open the door to a wide range of learning opportunities for students from all over the world.
