The University of Murcia has agreed to directly manage the installment payment of tuition, which until now was done through banks, which will save costs to students.
So far, students who availed themselves of their right to pay the costs of tuition in installments had to pay 40 euros for processing because they were saving the entities they advanced the full amount of tuition.
With the lead now launched by the Vice President of Finance, headed by Professor Antonio Calvo-Flores, disappears intermediation of these entities, and will be the university that directly manage installment payments, which the expenses payable are only seven euros.
This new method does not entail payment of interest on the part of students.
Moreover, the educational institution has received more than 800 applications within the call made to address economic situations occurring and the effects of the change in criteria for the award of scholarships.
The university services have already been analyzed most of them to determine how much aid may be granted eventually and fix the amount thereof.
Finally, the Regulation has been approved Student Council, the highest representative body of the students.
