Miguel Angel Blanco Square Bacons Bridge has been the scene of the tribute that was made to mark the sixteenth anniversary of the abduction and murder of the PP councilor Miguel Angel Blanco Ermua, by ETA.
Councillors Maria del Carmen Pelegrin, Christopher Smith and Waterman Alicia attended the event, which has been to lay a bunch of flowers in the square.
The tribute was attended by the President of the Municipal Board Bacons Bridge, Enrique Cano, local residents and presidents of associations of the parish.
Maria del Carmen Pelegrin stressed that "all we Murcia Miguel Angel Blanco in the heart", and added that the killing of White changed the perception of terrorism, proving the innocence of all the victims and the fanaticism of the terrorists as well and the courage of a society who joined to fight to save the life of Michelangelo.
The districts of The Garres, Valladolises, Monteagudo, and Neighborhood Progress Lobosillo have a street named for Miguel Angel Blanco.
James the Greater is an avenue with the name of Councillor, and a square Bacons Bridge.
