The rocks huertanas get into the kitchen (01/03/2013)

The Gastronomic Culture Hall (ACG) 'Raimundo Gonzalez' Veronicas Market resumes its activity and proposes three months full of workshops and free classes to spread the food and natural food.

Several cycles are planned such as Cooking with huertanas Peñas, in which members of the rocks teach cooking dishes from the garden.

The program begins today, from 11.30 am, with the presentation Murcia Mediterranean menu, by the food journalist José Manuel Iglesias.

This journalist is Director of Communications and Arts Foundation projects and Gastronomy and president of the Spanish Association of Writers and food journalists.

It is also winner of Gourmand World Cookbook Awards, for 'Best Gastronomic Literature Spain 2011'.

Events take place from Monday to Saturday, from 11.30, and are free.

Chefs from around the world based in the region live prepare the most popular recipes of their home countries.
