The Governing Board of the City of Murcia has given the green light this morning to support economic aid to education (school cafeteria) for families with fewer resources to the second and third quarters of the school year 2012-2013.
In order to promote the full integration of school children from socially disadvantaged families, should have a series of complementary actions to ensure coverage of the most basic needs of these children (food) under the same conditions of access they have other children.
From the Centers for Social Services are performed under those proposals that require this special support, based on the knowledge of families, acting as a booster for the intervention as it is done with them, trying at all times to improve conditions of life of children.
The proposal made by the Municipal Social Services, according to reports from the Centers of Social Services, refers to the coverage of dining the second and third quarters of the school year 2012-2013, with a smaller number of 335 proposed , enrolled in 76 schools in the municipality.
The aid budget is EUR 159,624.60.
