Update the municipal register of applicants for housing (27/02/2013)

The City Council has approved the draft regulations Demantantes Municipal Housing Register in order to update the register and provide more legal certainty to enrollees.

The Department of Planning and Housing is dirigada by Juan Antonio Bernabé.

Families enrolled in this record get a score to access housing in order of preference, from highest to lowest.

The homes are municipal official protection and those that are part of the Access to the Property, which is offered on a sale, lease or repo precariously to individuals enrolled in the registry.

The list of applicants, with name and score will be announced and will be available on the municipal website.

Registration is to contribute to ensure compliance in the award of the principles of equality, transparency, objectivity and competition, while constituting an instrument that will provide local government which will update housing program actions.

That way, the data will be released to meet the actual demand of this type of housing and housing policies be developed to suit the needs of citizens.

You can apply for housing one person family unit (parents with children or dependents, or single parents with dependent children, etc.), requiring residence, living in the city of Murcia, Spanish, European or aliens authorized of residence and work, adult or emancipated, that their annual income does not exceed 2.5 IPREM and has resided in the municipality for the last three years without interruption, or prove residence at least five years during the last ten years .

Likewise, enrollees may not own real furniture.

They may also apply for housing those whose homes present architectural barriers or which has received the statement of ruin.

People enrolled in the registry are on a waiting list to be updated every two months.

The registration is valid for three years.

After this time there will be renewed.

Housing applicants will get points for living in a house with poor living conditions, lack of home ownership, pay rent more than 25% of household income, length of residence in the municipality, personal and family circumstances (large families, children children and dependents, etc.), old high on record and income.

Registration of housing applicants currently has 600 people enrolled.
