Students of IES Miguel de Cervantes know the work of the Foundation in South Africa FADE (26/02/2013)

Students of IES Miguel de Cervantes attended a talk this morning at FADE Foundation (Development Aid Education).

This initiative is part Educating developing program, which carries out the Department of Equality Policies and Development Cooperation to promote the work of NGDOs Township while working with the Millennium Development Goals.

The month of February is dedicated to Education and the Millennium Development Goal 2: "Universal Primary Education: ensure that children / as everyone can complete a full course of primary schooling."

FADE members, accompanied by the Councillor for Equality Policies and Development Cooperation, Alicia Barquero, have released the work of the Foundation, which runs several programs for the socio-labor integration of women at risk of exclusion, offer education to children with difficulties in the region, especially the immigrant community-awareness programs and made-to volunteer to help the elderly, sick or dependents, volunteering in hospitals, as well as cooperation in developing countries - South Africa, Kenya, Ivory Coast, Paraguay and Peru.

FADE students presented the project to take place in South Africa for girls living on the street to study hospitality and well out of poverty themselves and their families.

During this month, has developed another talk at school and will be held Nelva, next week, in the IES Beniaján.
