Municipal Center of El Carmen hosts, until the 27th of February, an exhibition on lace by the Association of Friends of Bolillo of Murcia.
This is the exhibition of the works that made the lace in the workshops held at various centers in the municipality.
This is a handmade craft work interlacing threads on a pillow made following a previously drawing or chopped cardboard.
The goal is to spread this art and claim this tradition.
The exhibition opened to the public yesterday and was attended by the Councillor for Equality Policies and Development Cooperation, Alicia Barquero, and the Director General of Craft, Maria Dolores Alarcón.
Visiting hours are Monday to Friday from 11.00 to 13.30 and from 17.00 to 20.30.
