Educational support to 220 children and adolescents with the aim of opening new opportunities (16/02/2013)

Ensure uninterrupted socio project activities aimed at children and adolescents in the districts of Monteagudo, El Raal, Cobatillas, The Esparragal, Llano de Brujas and Santa Cruz.

This project, which is already approved, is part of the educational work carried out by the Municipal Centre of Social Services to establish an educational offerings aimed at children and adolescents in order to open new educational opportunities for both children and their surroundings as education agents in that territory, both in educational work itself as in support to it.

Recipients of this project in regard to educational support are 60 boys / girls and young people aged between 6 and 18 who need this type of attention and in the case of output activity we call "explore the city "will serve 160 children and youth in general, those with higher priority limitations on their access to culture, as this is an index that includes various risk indicators.

In both cases, this service will be accessed through particularized social educator working in the area of ​​educational attention.

The activity is doing an accompaniment to the boys and girls in their educational process, which often involves a reconstruction of the "link with knowledge" of the child and not infrequently their parents who also work from the support area social educator in the area, we place special emphasis on literacy as the basis for the present and future development of language and communication, allowing you to enter and pass through the different circuits and provides resources that society, starting with their own classroom.

The tutoring is performed as follows:

Admission progressive participants.

- Preliminary considerations to meet academic standards and distribution presented in the schedule.

- Design and completion of individualized educational projects and / or group objectives, assumptions educational activities, deadlines etc.

- Establish mechanisms for coordination with municipal services.

- Reporting on a quarterly basis, regarding the development of the IEP and group activities conducted and proposals for improvement.

The activity will take place preferably in municipal and exceptionally in the family home.

The timing coincides with the second and third quarters of the school year and school hours, Monday through Thursday, leaving Friday for the exits, preferably in the evening from 16.00 to 8:15 p.m., 1:15 a.m. sessions.

and 15 minutes for the shuttle since the activity has itinerant character with a maximum of twelve seats.

For school reinforcement required two professionals with teaching skills to serve students of primary and secondary education.

Each professional made 22 hours a week, which includes classes, a departure every three weeks and coordination with social educator in the area.
