Begin meetings to design the ordinance regulating prostitution in the city (15/02/2013)

The ordinance regulating prostitution in the town will be the result of consensus among the various stakeholders.

This is what the council intends Security and Human Resources, Nuria Fuentes, who this morning has begun a series of meetings that will design and develop this ordinance.

In the meeting this morning the mayor has met, among others, with Colonel Civil Guard chief, Jose Ortega, chief of the National Police, Cyril Duran, the local police chief inspector, Angel Marin.

At this meeting have discussed existing prostitution ordinances in other cities that have been studied in detail by experts from the council and the own sources.

This is the first meeting of others who will keep the council in the near future with the Federation of Neighborhood Associations, Employers Federation of Commerce of the Region of Murcia, Murcia Regional Federation of Employers of Commerce, Hostemur, the spokespersons of the political groups represented in the municipality and the Committee of Support for Sex Workers
