For this work, Linares, which deals mainly with figurative painting, has opted for managing the use of thick lines to shape and character to the main figures, underlining the composition with a way to "access a common place and tries to symbolize the convergence of cultures that enriches everyone ", notes the artist.

Esteban Linares is defined as "a dreamer of pictures".

Two intense weeks

The international focus that characterizes the festival will be reinforced by the presence of artists from the five continents, among others, Afghanistan, Argentina, Armenia, Brazil, Cape Verde, Cameroon, Costa Rica, Cuba, USA, France (the guest) , India, Israel, Italy, Morocco, Portugal, Senegal, Syria, Somalia and Tajikistan.

France has been chosen as the guest of this fourteenth edition, recognizing that this is one of the driving forces behind the racial and cultural tolerance, as well as many international associations based in favor of human rights.

This appreciation of diversity is reflected in its territory, a place where African minorities, Jewish and Eastern Europe, making up a population of nearly 4 million, and has presence of major religious denominations: Catholic, Muslim, Protestant, Jewish, Buddhist and orthodox.
