Telefónica connects Murcia with fiber to the home (11/02/2013)

Estimated to create 300 jobs for technical and commercial work

This new technology will provide households and companies in Murcia connection faster, safer and versatile market

Telefonica plans to invest in the city of Murcia 30 million euros to bring fiber to the home.

In order to make available the best of Murcia fixed network technology available in the market, Telefónica announced this morning to the plan of deployment of fiber optics in the city.

Javier Castro, director of Telefónica in Murcia, Valencia and the Balearic Islands, presented the project that will make this city one of the first cities covered by fiber to the home in a ceremony attended by Michelangelo Chamber, Mayor Murcia City.
