A researcher at the University of Murcia in a congress gets the prize for the best paper in Clinical Nutrition (08/02/2013)

Tvarijonaviciute Asta, the research group "Veterinary Clinical Analysis", University of Murcia, has achieved the award for the best paper in Clinical Nutrition at the 22nd Congress of the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, held in Maastricht (Netherlands).

The work is entitled "Do obese dogs suffer from metabolic syndrome?"

and was conducted in collaboration with the research group in obesity and metabolic diseases of the Liverpool School of Veterinary Medicine.

Asta Tvarijonaviciute develops his thesis on canine and feline obesity and related diseases at the University of Murcia under the direction of José Joaquín Cerón teachers, and Silvia Martinez Fernando alongs.
