The doctoral student at the University of Murcia Araceli Red Carnation a Winner "Enrique Gelabert", awarded by the College of Pharmacists of the Region, for his research project "Use, readability and understanding of prospects in prescription drugs" .
This paper studies the use made of the prospect of a drug and what appears as readability last valid source of information available to the patient outside the hospital setting.
In addition, he examines the role the mass media in general and the Internet in particular, as new and emerging sources of patient information.
As directors of the researchers are working Motas Miguel Guzman and Maria Dolores Pérez Prisons, teachers Sociosanitary Science Department of the University of Murcia.
This award, which is endowed with a thousand euros, is part of the latest edition of the awards competition, which awards annual Royal Academy of Medicine and Surgery of Murcia in order to stimulate research among medical professionals and related sciences.
The award, attended unpublished work on pharmacy choice, was presented at the Archaeological Museum of Murcia.
