Councilwoman Andrea Garries in plenary yesterday defended the need to develop this strategic report to plan a high quality holiday, make investment expenses and generate both sociocultural and economic wealth for the town
The socialist mayor Andrea Garries regrets that the PP of La Glorieta vote yesterday during the course of the regular plenary session against the development of a study on the social and economic impact of the festivals in the town of Murcia.
"Blindness local government reconfirmed yesterday," Garries complaint, who do not understand how they can refuse to perform the strategic analysis and economic impact of the September Fair and Spring Festival, whose main purpose is to improve their planning and extract more performance.
"If through this study we found weaknesses parties get a higher quality, in which the costs also become investment and generate economic and cultural wealth of our city," said Councilwoman PSOE.
In this sense, Garries recalls that such studies have already been conducted in cities like Pamplona or Zaragoza with celebrations as important as sanfermines and Fiestas del Pilar.
In smaller municipalities as Calpe has also made an analysis of the impact on the city of the Moors and Christians.
