The register of the municipality of Murcia has 443,351 inhabitants (20/12/2012)

Murcia Township already has a pattern consisting of a total of 436,710 inhabitants, as at January 1, 2012, a figure that has increased compared to 2011 inhabitants in 1355.

The Plenary of the Corporation has approved this morning the annual municipal census population of Murcia, dated January 1, 2012.

Of the total population, 224,652 are women and 218,699 inhabitants are men.

The number of foreigners is of 58,652 inhabitants.

- High-born residents have been 5216.

- Increase due to change of residence from abroad: 9676 inhabitants.

- Casualties of death: 2888

- Low for change of residence to destinations abroad: 10,107
