A new road connecting the area Citmusa expansion and business park west by Highway Sewer-El Palmar and the Industrial West.
The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, presided this morning the commissioning of the road, which gives poor communication solution to date for an area of ​​large daily influx of vehicles.
It is a road of 230 meters long on a performance area of ​​8,000 square meters.
It consists of two lanes of 3.50 meters, a one meter outside shoulder, central median of 9 meters wide and is equipped with lighting.
The sign is intended for heavy traffic accessing the Transport Centre.
The new road has become operational after little more than four months of work, which has invested 308,722 euros.
Nearly a thousand people work in the fifty companies installed in the Center for Integrated Transport Citmusa-to-Murcia, near the Industrial West and new developments, are the area's most important economic activity in the region.
The mayor pointed out that the commitment of local and regional administrations, along with the support of CajaMurcia and momentum of the Chamber of Commerce and the Federation of Business Organizations Regional Transportation (FROET), has allowed a reality today Citmusa consolidated with more than 50 companies located in a polygon ordered more than 450,000 m2, which employs about 1,000 people.
The recent launch of the service station-by-FROET concession granted to the onset of activity and the heavy vehicle parking complete the services the center offers Integrated Transport carriers.
It is currently at the drafting stage of the development project of the second phase of the Integrated Transport Centre (ILC) for a total of 350,000 square meters.
